Joining the Firefly Logistics ETS2 Convoy

1. Have EuroTruck Simulator 2 (ETS2) installed
    

2. Have bought and installed the following DLC for ETS2. They often do bundles and sales for ETS2 so make sure to grab a bargain when they do!
    

   1. Going East

   2. Vive La France

   3. Beyond the Baltic Sea

   4. Italia

   5. Iberia

   6. Road to the Black Sea

   7. Scandinavia 

   8. West Balkans
       

3. Once all those are installed go to https://promods.net/setup.php?game=ets and follow the instructions exactly to generate the ProMods files and download them. Note: It's highly worth picking the option that costs ~£1 that allows you to download all the files at once rather than the free option it makes life much easier. 
    

4. On Discord go to the Channels and Roles section at the top of the left menu and there is a question in there which asks "Do you Truck Sim" tick that box and it should give you the right roles to see the Firefly Logistics channels. If you don't start seeing a few more channels in the Trucking section contact TwoToneMurphy and he can give you the correct role.
    

5. In the channel #ffl-chat (which will appear when you do step 4) there is a pinned message with a link to a Google Sheet which has all the mods you need to install on. Open that up, there are links to each one and you should be able to install them (it's called subscribe in Steam workshop). Do that for all of them in the google sheet. 
    

6. Now we need to change a couple of items in our config file. Goto your documents folder and in there you should find a Euro Truck Simulator 2 folder, in that folder is a file called config.cfg. With the game closed open this in a text editor and change the following lines

   1. g_max_convoy_size change the number from 8 to 64 

   2. uset g_traffic set this to "1.0"
       

7. Once those two have been changed save the file. There are some other optional changes you can make listed in the Google Sheet mentioned earlier.

8. Next open https://hub.truckyapp.com/ register for an account then go to the directory (https://hub.truckyapp.com/directory) and search for Firefly Logistics and apply to join (It's a manual approval but shouldn't take too long)
    

9. Install the Trucky Hub App on you computer and login with your newly created login details. 
    

10. Next open ETS2 and go to the Mods menu and once all the mods have been downloaded (they take a few mins to download and appear) activate each of them by double clicking on them and make sure they match the order shown in the google spreadsheet line for line (this is really important). 
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
    
     

11. Once all this is complete either continue your existing game or create a new one (if you are creating a new one it's advisable to do some solo jobs first to build up your rank and skill points) and from the main menu go to Convoys >> Convoy Lobby. Once the game finishes fetching sessions in the search box enter the server ID, which is in a Pinned message in the #ffl-chat channel on discord, then press the search icon. 
    
    Joining the convoy from an existing save will not disrupt your solo game, you'll still have all your trucks, garages, drivers etc and money generated will go to your company just as if you were playing solo, you'll just be able to see the other Fireflies as you are driving around and take the same jobs as them. When you finish in the convoy and disconnect the money will be added to your solo game and you can continue on your own. 
     

12. Click on the server (Called TTM Driving Circus) and the game will check that all the mods are installed and in the right order, if there are any issues it will tell you in the right-hand bar of the screen what the issue is. 
     

13. If all is well in the realm you'll be able to press Join Convoy and you will be connected, then just join the Truckin Voice Channel to join in with the conversation if you want to (no requirement to do this of course).

The Convoy server is up 24/7 so you can join at any point and drive with any other Fireflies at any time.
