About twotonemurphy

I’m Murph — an Irish flight simulation enthusiast and content creator, originally from Dublin and now based in County Tipperary.
Flight simulation, for me, has always been about more than aircraft and procedures. It’s about shared experiences, learning together, and the simple enjoyment of flying — whether that’s a carefully planned group flight, a relaxed evening hop, or discovering a new corner of the world from the cockpit.
My content focuses primarily on Microsoft Flight Simulator, with a strong emphasis on general aviation, community flying, and accessible learning. Over time, that focus naturally grew into something bigger — a welcoming, supportive community of like-minded aviation fans known as the TwoToneMurphy Flying Circus, and affectionately, the Fireflies.
This community is built on a few simple ideas:
-
Everyone is welcome, regardless of experience
-
Flying is better when it’s shared
-
Learning should feel relaxed, not intimidating
-
The journey matters just as much as the destination
I livestream regularly on Twitch and YouTube, flying Monday to Friday at 20:00 Zulu, with additional daytime streams at 11:00 Zulu on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Some streams are structured and educational, others are spontaneous and light-hearted — but all of them are community-driven.
A Little More Background
Before stepping into full-time digital content creation, I spent nearly two decades working in senior roles within the logistics industry in Ireland. During that time, I managed large-scale operations covering everything from staff leadership and training to business management, compliance, health and safety, and ISO-certified quality systems.
I led teams of up to 60 staff, oversaw 24-hour operations, and worked hands-on with systems involving IT infrastructure, GPS tracking, navigation tools, and operational software. Just as importantly, I spent years mentoring and supporting people — helping teams function effectively in high-pressure environments.
That background shapes everything I do today.
While content creation may look worlds apart from logistics, the same principles apply: preparation, communication, situational awareness, and teamwork. It’s why learning is a core part of the community, why events are structured but welcoming, and why safety, clarity, and respect matter here.
What I Do Today
Today, I’m a full-time content creator, streamer, and digital storyteller, best known online as Twotonemurphy. Across Twitch, YouTube, Discord, and Patreon, I create aviation-focused content that blends entertainment, education, realism, and storytelling. That includes livestreams, structured learning sessions, historical recreations, community events, and collaborative projects with developers and brands across the simulation space.
At the heart of it all, is the community. We’ve carved out our own corner of the flight simulation world — one that values curiosity, inclusivity, and flying together — and I genuinely look forward to every opportunity to share the skies with you.
