Another Aviation Americas flight this week, taking us from the tip of Newfoundland over to Nova Scotia!

Halifax Stanfield sits inland about 35km north of the city, which catches a lot of people off guard if they're expecting a coastal approach. The airport handles a decent mix of traffic and the weather here can shift quickly, with fog and low ceilings being a regular part of the deal. Nothing too wild runway-wise, but keeping an eye on the TAF before you descend is always a good idea.

⭐ Interesting fact: Halifax was one of the key transatlantic ferry staging points during World War II, with thousands of aircraft passing through the region on their way to Europe, which gives the area a pretty deep aviation history.
