Hello all! This week we're making the hop from Gothenburg over to the challenging Leeds Bradford! Weather as of Monday's forecast looks pretty bad too! Winds and rain so could be interesting arrival!

✈️ EGNM: Destination Overview
EGNM sits on a plateau in the Pennines at around 680 feet elevation, which sounds modest until the weather closes in and you're dealing with low cloud, wind shear, and a fairly short runway. It serves the Leeds and Bradford area and handles a decent mix of commercial traffic despite being one of the smaller regional airports in England. The surrounding terrain makes approaches interesting, particularly in poor visibility.

⭐ Interesting fact: The airport has one of the higher elevations of any commercial airport in England, which combined with its exposure to Pennine weather means it sees disproportionately frequent diversions and delays compared to its size.
